Welcome to Stoneburg Baptist Church
Dear Friend in Jesus: I want to express my personal thanks to you for examining this information. If you have
visited with us at Stoneburg Baptist Church, I want to thank you for worshiping with us. If you have not, then I want to invite
you to come and see the “small country Church that stresses the love and fellowship of the Biblical Jesus.” We want to declare we are dedicated to serving God in a real and life-changing way. Jesus said in John 8:32, “Then
you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free (NIV).” This Scripture shares with us an important need in
all humanity. This need is truth and a final authority in all things, in Heaven and in Earth. This absolute truth is important
so we may understand how God interacts with all of us.
God has been portrayed as a condemning God, but we read
the Bible as a loving and saving experience. John 3:17 tell us, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn
the world, but to save the world through Him (NIV).” Romans 8:1 tells us also, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus… (NIV)” If we can help you in any way please feel free to contact me
at any time. We are here to love!

Our
primary Vision
Our primary vision is to seek the leadership of God through His Holy Spirit. In doing
so we believe there are two primary Scriptures that express all the goals we should have. These Scriptures are essential in
our personal and public lives.
The Greatest Commandment:
“Love
the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
(NIV--Matthew 22:37-40)
The Great Commission:
“Therefore go
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (NIV--Matthew
28:19-20)
